Night-time works on the VE2 at the Fajã das Contreiras Tunnel

From 28 September to 1 October 2026, work to alter the cable route and reposition technical cabinets will take place on the VE2, between km 8+250 and km 9+250, at the Fajã das Contreiras Tunnel. During the night-time period, in the Porto Moniz > São Vicente (Decrescente) direction, the work will disrupt traffic and require one lane to be closed.
